Welcome to the project website for the EU Policy on Animal Welfare evaluation.

GHK Consulting Ltd and ADAS UK Ltd have been commissioned by the European Commission, Directorate General Health and Consumer Protection, to evaluate the EU policy on Animal Welfare (EUPAW).

This project website has been established in order to raise awareness of the evaluation and to also provide an opportunity for interested individuals to access relevant reference material and to forward their comments to the evaluation team. The website will be updated and added to as the evaluation progresses.

This website is available in English, French, German and Spanish. However, please note that when you click on specific items on the website you may be directed to other websites or links which, for various reasons, are only available in a limited number of languages. In particular, consultation documents targeted to specialized audiences are not necessarily published in all languages. The online stakeholder survey is, for budgetary reasons, only available in English. Responses are, however, acceptable in all EU languages.
